I created a gallery of Duchesnay Falls, which Theresa and I visited over the past weekend. Feel free to have a look.
I have to say that I’m a little shocked that North Bay actually had such a beautiful waterfall so close to the road. If you park your car at the exceptionally small lot by the path, walk 5 minutes up hill, and brave the bugs, you’ll be presented with a very nice waterfall.
The real charm in it all though, is if you’re willing to keep climbing.
The further along the path you go (which involves a fairly steep grade at some points) you are presented with a waterfall that blows the previous one away. This happened three times. At that point we stopped because we were running out of time, but I could tell that had we kept going, we would have been presented with an even more wondrous scene than the ones we had just seen.
